2020 THANK YOU!
We want to thank everyone for their amazing generosity during Coastside Gives this year. On the whole the Coastside Gives Campaign raised over $1 million dollars for coastside charities! Wow! We are especially blown away by the support that we received for KMAP this year. We set a goal of $6,000 and thanks to everyone who donated we were able to more than double our goal and raise $16,462 from donations, matching funds, and prizes. We could not have done this without each and everyone of you.

Coastside Gives is an annual day of local giving that supports many non profits organizations on the Coastside, including Kings Mountain Associated Parents and Kings Mountain Elementary School. Coastside Gives is a great opportunity to have your donation multiplied by donations from local businesses and community partners, with matching funds, prize awards, and social media contents.
Matching Funds:
CEF has offered a $500 matching grant donation to all PTO’s within the school district, if we raise a minimum of $500 they will match those funds.
Power Hour: 1:00 pm – 1:59 pm May 7th
KMAP Donation Drawing:
Anyone who donates a minimum of $15 via Coastside Gives this year, will be entered into a drawing for a $50 gift card to either The Barn or Half Moon Bay Brewing Co. (both are offering takeout during SIP) we will announce the winners on Friday May 8th.
An Unprecedented Time:
This year Coastside Gives is a critical opportunity to help us recoup funds lost by having to indefinitely postpone our three spring fundraisers (Mountain House Social, Spring Raffle & Fund Run). We had anticipated raising $10,000 from these three events to balance our budgets. Coastside Gives is a welcome online replacement.
We understand that circumstances are changing rapidly for many families at this time. We are asking that you take the view of Coastside Gives being a replacement for our lost events. Small donations of $10 or $15 are greatly appreciated and can add up to make a big impact! It is our hope that donors who are in a position to be generous will be, not just with us but with any of the CUSD PTO’s as we are all trying to recoup funds from cancelled events.
