Kings Mountain Elementary School Virtual Tour
If you can’t make it to campus right now, thanks to sheltering in place, why not tour the school from the comfort of your couch. We hope this slideshow gives you a glimpse of how special our little school is.
- Welcome to Kings Mountain Elementary School. This delightful small school is nestled among the redwoods in the coastal hills of Half Moon Bay, CA.
- When you first arrive at the school you will see the back of the school office, the 4/5 classroom, and the entrance to the courtyard and playground (left to right).
- Inside the 4/5 Classroom children have lots of space to spread out.
- As you enter the playground you will notice the children's bathrooms, the TK/K/1 Classroom, the Venture Free Children's Center, the Science Classroom, and the 2/3 Classroom (left to right).

- From the KMES School Office you can see our colorful Lion's Den. The Lion's Den houses our school library, and multi-use area. The school also gathers for assemblies, rain day lunches, culinary arts classes, music classes, and special events.

- From the Venture Free Children's Center (VFCC) you can see some of our kids' favorite part of the school, the playground!

- Sometimes it even snows a tiny bit up at the school. Just enough to be fun, but not enough to make it hard to drive.
- Another fun area of the school is the Upper Field! There are two main areas, one side, seen here, is the open field space for field games and recess games.
- The other half of the upper field contains our KMES Community garden, planted and tended by the children each year.

- Also in our Upper Field you will also find colorful planters where the children grow herbs and other plants.
